3 points that we appreciate about Typeform

An intuitive and functional user interface

First point appreciated about Typeform: its user interface. Friendly and easy to learn, creating forms (with little complexity) is a real breeze. The focus on personalization allows us to easily adapt the appearance of the forms to reflect the visual identity of your company.

Even for those who are new to form creation, Typeform proves to be an intuitive and accessible tool that is ideal for simple projects.

The possibility of integrating other tools

Typeform excels in its ability to integrate seamlessly with a multitude of other software and services. This integration extends to tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshdesk, Excel, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Microsoft Teams, Mailchimp, etc...

This option makes it easier to manage your marketing activities and customer relationships.

The “hidden fields” for more personalization

By integrating “hidden fields” into your forms, you can use pre-existing information about your users to offer a personalized experience and obtain more accurate feedback. For example:

  • By welcoming users by name,
  • By encouraging users to verify or confirm their email addresses,
  • By pre-filling the fields in the form with the information already known,
  • By asking targeted questions about specific products or services that users are already familiar with.

3 things we don't like about Typeform

A high price compared to the competition

In our opinion, Typeform certainly has some great advantages, but the tool represents a certain cost compared to other competitors: it costs around 25 euros per month for a plan that collects 100 responses, and 55 euros per month for a plan offering up to 1000 responses. For a company that would not have much use of it, other lower options exist and meet the needs perfectly, such as Google Forms.

Creating complex advanced forms

For users looking to create particularly complex or customized forms, Typeform can present some limitations in terms of flexibility. This tool, while effective for standard use, may not offer the same degree of customization or the same variety of advanced options as some of its competitors.

Typeform customization could be improved: the themes available lack diversity and tend to be similar, which limits customization options.

Limited data analysis options

When it comes to data analysis, Typeform offers satisfactory basic functionalities. However, for those who want more in-depth and detailed analyses, Typeform may not be sufficient. Additional external tools may be required for advanced analysis tasks. This is a point to consider for users with specific needs in terms of data processing and exploitation.

Conclusion: Our opinion on Typeform

To conclude, Typeform is a good tool that has distinguished itself in the creation of online forms thanks to its intuitive user interface, the diversity of question types or even the easy integration with other tools. However, the comparative cost, the complexity for more advanced forms, and the limited data analysis options for users who would like to make it a real analysis tool are aspects to consider.

Typeform remains an option for those looking for an effective and customizable, but standard online form tool.

3/5

Typeform price

Typeform offers both a free version and several paid plans depending on the needs:

  • The free version of Typeform is a good way to discover its features, with a limit of 100 responses per form.
  • Typeform's paid plans, starting at $25 per month, pave the way for a range of advanced features. This includes “Logic Jumps,” greater customization, the ability to remove Typeform branding, and a significant increase in the number of responses allowed.
  • For large businesses, Typeform offers a tailor-made plan, accompanied by a personalized price and priority support. These paid plans are specially designed to meet the needs of advanced users and businesses.
