Difficulty creating a relational experience

Although Formless offers numerous advantages, our tests revealed some aspects that we were upset about, including the lack of relationships. On Formless, you define what information to collect, and the tool strives to get it as quickly as possible, usually at the expense of the user experience.

An approach that is less focused on rapid data collection could significantly improve the Formless experience. Of course, we could adjust the parameters of the tool ourselves to make up for this lack, but it is more complex than on paper: the lack of tutorials and indications on the steps to be taken to achieve this and put relationships at the heart of the experience does not help us create a better understanding and discovery of customer needs.

Confusion between form and Chatbot

Take note: Formless is not a chatbot. This tool is specially designed for collecting data and improving the user experience, but it is not intended to simulate conversations with human users (perhaps that is what it could be criticized for). As a user, it is crucial to understand that Formless does not offer a chatbot experience, at the risk of creating a feeling of disappointment among your visitors.

Conclusion: Formless, from our point of view, is satisfactory

The tool effectively fulfills its mission: to offer a dynamic form capable of collecting and structuring data. However, the user experience could be enhanced if there was less emphasis on data collection. At Sales Odyssey, we use Formless on our site and we are satisfied with it, but nothing more because the experience is still too similar to that of a “simple form”.
