After having seen the various features that SEObility offers in general terms, let's focus on the ones we like best at Sales Odyssey, and how they are useful to us.

Case 1: Onpage SEObility analysis: useful for SEO audits

By bringing together the various functionalities of SEObility, we have the cards in hand in order to do an SEO audit, on the semantic and technical parts but also on the backlinks. SEObility offers an OnPage analysis of the following points:

  • Content analysis: SEObility reviews the content of your pages, evaluating the relevance of the keywords used, the quality of the writing, and the overall optimization of the content for search engines.
  • Technical analysis: The tool checks the technical aspects of your site, such as the structure of the URLs, the presence of appropriate title tags and meta descriptions, the existence of robots.txt and sitemap.xml files, the adaptability to mobile devices, and much more.
  • Link analysis: SEObility also looks at the internal and external links on your site, identifying broken or toxic links that may be harmful to your SEO.

By combining these analyze, you can get an overview of the state of your SEO and identify areas that need improvement!

Case 2: Backlink analysis

As seen above, SEObility offers a backlink analysis, which allows an evaluation of the quality and quantity of links pointing to your site. This function is relevant insofar as backlinks contribute to the online visibility and authority of a site.

Thanks to this feature, we can benefit from a detailed list of all our backlinks, as well as information on them, such as the anchor text used, the Domain Authority (DA) or the Page Authority (PA) of the source site.

This tool allows you to identify toxic backlinks that can harm your SEO. These may be links from poor quality websites or sites that are not relevant to your market.

SEObility offers the possibility of continuously monitoring your backlinks, thus alerting you to any new backlinks acquired or lost. This allows you to constantly stay up to date on the status of your backlink profile and to react quickly if necessary.

To help you develop an effective link building strategy, SEObility also offers you the opportunity to analyze the backlinks of your competitors. This way, you can discover new backlink opportunities and be inspired by the strategies of your competitors to improve your own backlink profile.

2 cases that we like less

Now let's move on to the cases that leave us wanting more with SEObility: the limitation in the number of projects that we can follow on the tool, as well as the lack of data that we may have.

Case 1: Limitation in the number of projects

Unfortunately, even with a paid version, SEObility limits us to a maximum of 3 simultaneous projects. This may not be enough for digital marketing agencies or SEO professionals (like us for example) who manage several websites at the same time.

Additionally, this limitation may hinder the ability to track and compare the SEO performance of multiple sites over time. This is a point to take into account when evaluating the relevance of SEObility for your SEO needs.

Case 2: Lack of some data

What do we mean by that? Quite simply, compared to some of these competitors, SEObility has (in our eyes) some shortcomings:

  • Data volume: Although SEObility offers a detailed analysis of the SEO aspects of your site, it does not provide as much data as some other SEO tools on the market. For example, it does not offer analysis of organic traffic, impressions, clicks, or click rate, which does not allow us to have an overview of the domain as offered by SEMrush or Sistrix.
  • Data precedence: Being a simple “scroll” tool, SEObility does not allow you to have the anteriority of domain name data.
  • Data depth: SEObility does not always provide detailed data on specific elements of your site. For example, it may indicate that you have duplicate content issues, but it may not provide detailed information about where the duplications are and how to fix them.

These limitations can make it more difficult to accurately identify problems and develop effective optimization strategies. It is therefore preferable to use SEObility in addition to other SEO tools.

Our opinion

Our opinion is mixed on SEObility, because yes, it is a tool that gives us relevant data, which is useful for an SEO audit, for example, but we find that it lacks a clearer and more detailed overview, as tools like Sistrix offer us or SEMrush. So it is not a tool that we are going to invest in, because as an agency, we need more efficient monitoring tools.

Cost and installation

SEObiity offers 3 offers:

  • The Basic plan is free and offers limited features. It is good for testing or for a small site in addition to other tools (such as the Google Search Console).
  • The Premium plan costs 49.90 euros per month and offers access to all features, with a 14-day free trial. The main difference with the Agency plan is the number of projects included (which is 3), as well as the number of keywords included (300), which is not much.
  • The Plan Agency, for its part, is 179.90 euros per month, and offers access to all features and options.

When it comes to installation, SEObility is designed to be easy to set up and use. An installation guide is provided to help users through the process.
